Reviews about Pets Barn Veterinary Group - Forest of Dean
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Pets Barn are of excellent quality and are very friendly. My dog is extreemly hard to examine as he gets excited and will not stop moving. But that doesn't phase the vets at all.by Amber WynnJanuary 22, 2017
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Pets Barn have got it right. My previous vet gave me the worst experience so I wish I'd known about them sooner. They always put you at ease and discuss your concerns and options at any length you require so you can make the right decisions with confidence. The whole place is scrupulously clean and tidy and smells nice. The staff are so good with pets and there's always the odd treat in the drawer or on the shelf for them. Your pet is never 'just an animal' and there's always a cuddle and a head kiss if your fluffer is up for the love. Their Pet Healthcare facility is dedicated to keeping your little ones healthy and happy. All flea and worm treatment is included in the cost, you have two free consultations as well as vaccinations and a discount from neutering and spaying costs. Microchipping is included in the cost of the monthly payment. These general maintenance costs can really mount up so for less than the cost of one flea treatment per month you get all of these benefits and probably some more that I've forgotten about. My kitten (and my older two cats) have all been members of the Youth Club. You take your little one in once a month for a weigh in and check up to ensure they're growing up nicely. This is so worthwhile because it gets your pet used to going out and the whole experience of going to see the vet which makes it easier on them in the long run. The Youth Club is free and covers the first six months of your pet's life. You can also take your pet/s in whenever you like to weigh them without cost, there's scales in reception for you to use. I've also taken advantage of things like visiting their other practices, out of hours emergency services and I also had a home visit for my very poorly, elderly dog. As far as I'm concerned there are vets and there's Pets Barn Vets. I wouldn't go anywhere else.by Bea EssDecember 23, 2016
